WHW kuratiert die Istanbul Biennale 2009

Die von der Istanbuler Stiftung für Kultur und Kunst IKSV veranstaltete Istanbul Biennale wird im nächsten Jahr vom kroatischen Kuratorinnen-Kollektiv "What, How & For Whom / WHW" kuratiert und wird vom 12. September bis zum 8. November 2009 stattfinden.
Bisher hat das aus Ivet Ćurlin, Ana Dević, Nataša Ilić und Sabina Sabolović bestehende Kollektiv u.a. folgende Ausstellungen kuratiert:

"All Dressed-up With Nowhere to Go" (TranzitDisplay Gallery, Prag, 2007); "Ground Lost" (Forum Stadtpark, Graz & Gallery Nova, Zagreb, 2007); "Contemporary American Art" (zusammen mit dem Museum of American Art-Belgrad, MoAA); "Normalization, dedicated to Nikola Tesla" (Gallery Nova, Zagreb, 2006); "Collective Creativity" (Kunsthalle Fridericianum, Kassel, 2005); "Side-effects" (Salon of the Museum of Contemporary Art, Belgrade, 2004); "Looking Awry" (apexart, New York, 2003); "Project: Broadcasting, dedicated to Nikola Tesla" (Technisches Museum, Zagreb, 2002); "What, How & for Whom, on the occasion of the 153rd anniversary of the Communist Manifesto" (Kunsthalle Exnergasse, Vienna, 2001); "What, How & for Whom, on the occasion of the 152nd anniversary of the Communist Manifesto" (Association of Croatian Artists, Zagreb, 2000).
